Dans le cadre de l'établissement de ma liste de cadeaux (oui, j'suis un peu - beaucoup - psychorigide, j'aime bien avoir des trucs qui me plaisent à Noël... oui, magie, blabla, surprise... bon), je m'adresse à monsieur Kian pour avoir son avis sur "Captain Harlock - the endless odyssey"! C'est bien, pas bien? Qualité du charac design? intérêt de l'histoire? Musique? ;)

J'ai trouvé ça beau et avec ambiance assez mystique, voir faisant par moments penser à un rêve. Le scénario n'est par contre pas exceptionnel, bien que je n'ai vu que jusqu'à l'épisode 7, et il n'y que très peu d'action : n'espère pas y voir un Harlock courir et se battre avec son sabre laser. Enfin malgré ça, j'ai beaucoup aimé, et il faudra que j'en vois la fin un de ces 4 ;) http://www.dvdanime.net/critiqueview.php?id_critique=1362

Merci beaucoup pour ces informations. Je viens de lire la critique de dvdanime et l'aspect sombre qui en ressort me semble assez séduisant. Visiblement, il semblerait que le traitement soit plutôt psychologique, ce qui devrait me plaire. Les images sont également fort sympathiques...
Vous croyez que le monsieur en rouge, il m'amènera le coffret qui sort demain, que je viens de voir sur le site de la fnac, hein? :niark:

Je l'ai vue hier soir :)
Sympathique série, préquel de Galaxy Express 999 et du destin de Maëtel. On y voir Promethium en grand méchant, Harlock, Emeraldas et toute la clique ^^ (Harlock et son équipage son à bord du Death Shadow et pas de l'Arcadia). C'est mignon, idéaliste, du beau pitit Matsumoto bien fichu :)

J'ai vu les DVDs Suédois, mais uniquement en Suédois of course. Est-ce que quelqu'un a des nouvelles de cette fameuse édition DVD que la Tôei promettait à toute ses séries "obscurs" ? Je parle de DVD Japonais of course. :hypocrite: Sinon, pas mal de mes séries fétiches (pratiquement inconnu en France, soit parcequ'elles sont très ancienne, soit parcequ'elles ne sont jamais sortit en France...) sont également sortit en Italie (et ont plutôt bien marché là-bas), et en DVD Z2 avec Version Italienne et VO (master japonais)... Beaucoup sont choqués par cet extrait. En effet, ils ont l'impression que Harlock est un gentil. La VF et le côté club do' ont fait beaucoup de mal à la réalité. Harlock n'est pas un rigolo ni dans 78, ni dans le 84. Alors du coup, la dureté et la violence passent assez mal.
Pourtant...

Leiji Matsumoto sera l'auteur d'un nouveau manga d'Harlock, publié au Japon à partir d'aout prochain. Les dessins ne seront pas de lui mais ça pourra mériter un coup d’œil.
Ça me fait penser que je n'ai toujours pas vu plus de la moitié du film en CG... je bloque un peu.

Je ne sais pas ce qui me dérange le plus, la 3D ou le film - et le fait que ce soit une bouze - MAIS il a le mérite d'exister et de donner envie de se remater la série à défaut ^^

Cela n'a pas grand chose avec le manga et les animés. Harlock a des côtés torturés, c'est un gros bill... Mais ce n'est pas un dépressif immortel kamikaze suicidaire qui se fout du sort de l'univers et qui n'aime pas les hommes.
